    My son Brek started playing golf in the summer of 2009 at the age of 9 years old; by the age of 10, we realized that he had a nice swing and really enjoyed the game. By the time he was 12, he was shooting in the high 80's and low 90's but he didn't seem to be improving. He took lessons from different pro instructors, including a top PGA rated instructor in Las Vegas, but to no avail.

    In December of 2013, Brek and I talked to Michael Washington and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism as well as an individualized fitness program and swing analysis. I was also very impressed at how well he communicates and relates to Brek.
    Brek's first lesson with Michael Washington was January 14, 2014. Brek practiced three days a week under his instruction and I saw instant results with lower scores.  On July 14, 2014, Brek shot in the 70's for the first time and he hasn't looked back. Michael has made great strides with Brek's distance and accuracy as well as attitude.  Michael is still actively coaching Brek.
 

 

 

Kyle Baldwin – Lake Havasu City, AZ   

     I have been playing golf since 12 (now 26). I have had a lot of fun over the years, but never been able to really improve on my game, even with lessons. I have noticed over trial and error with going to lessons that not a lot of people wanted to help work on my swing but teach me what they think is the best way to hit the ball.

    A few months ago I met Mike Washington and everything changed. He worked with my swing and helped build the fundamentals of my golf game. He helped with not only proper setup up and address of the ball but also the proper way to stretch and warm up before a round, he helped me find out what I was doing wrong and how to feel what was wrong and teach me the right way. He has taught me proper course management and proper rules during tournament play. I can honestly say Mike has taught me more about this game in this short time then anyone I have worked with in the past.

    Since working with Mike I have gained 50-75 yards on my drivers and gained 20-30 yards on my irons. He has taught me many drills for putting to help with proper speed and direction. Working with Mike has dropped my scores from Mid 90's to low 80's and even high 70's.

    I think the best thing about working with Mike is not just the golf he teaches but the life lessons you get from listening to his wisdom. I would and have recommended people to see Mike Washington and will continue to send more people his way to learn more about this wonderful game.

   I recently met with Coach Washington on a Saturday afternoon for one of his classes hoping he could help me out with my golf game. Within a couple of minutes, after using a few movement changes he showed me, he had me hitting the ball long and straight.

  I have known Coach Washington for about 13 years now. He has helped me a lot with school, football, basketball and now golf. He's a great coach and he always keeps a smile on your face while you’re learning. You will learn more then what you expect with working with him. He will teach you more than just the game.
